You will love SUPER TASK, it's FREE, no login required and saves heaps of time.
In school recently I have had so many interruptions, just when you have the kiddos full attention, another knock at the door, an announcement over the intercom, a phonecall from the office. So I decided to do some research into this, OF COURSE! Here is what I found...
What if you could IMPROVE SCHOOLS at NO COST?

What if money isn’t the answer, but clever thinking is?

NUMBER ONE NO COST IMPROVEMENT

REMOVE INTERRUPTIONS

WATCH THE VIDEO FLOW - WHY DOES IT MATTER? It's an amusing starting point for discussion. I made it to demonstrate the point. I also experimented with D-ID text to speech and lip synch which was a lot of fun. Let me know what you think of it.
NUMBER TWO NO COST IMPROVEMENT
STOP TECHNOLOGY FUNDING FOR ONE YEAR
Now before you all object, what if, all your current technolgy worked? What if every iPad and computer and whiteboard, well, just worked. What if you knew when you went into the classroom that you could just switch it on and there was NO PROBLEMS. What if the programs, apps, versions and login protocols were the same for all the devices?
I would think I’d stepped into a TEACHING UTOPIA.

With the money saved I would suggest, deploying 50% of the saved money into getting all existing technology working properly and 50% for training in using AI for efficiency and understandin

Distractions

KILL FLOW

FOCUS is not just related to flow; it is a necessary condition for achieving it. Without the ability to concentrate deeply, the immersive and very rewarding experience of FLOW, cannot occur. FLOW is often referred to as being IN THE ZONE.

There can be 10 to 12 interruptions to a classroom in one day, phone calls from the office, student late arrivals, lost property, borrowing equipment, intercom announcements, class pet escapes, organising team sports, lunchtime activities and a dozen other things.

Does this sound like your classroom?

Most of these interruptions are well intentioned but, is the focus on these more important than well, FOCUSING on LEARNING.
It is estimated that it takes up to 15 minutes for focus to be regained after these types of interruptions

& up to 20 days lost over the year.

STUDIES SHOW that constant interruptions in the classroom are closely linked to the rise in behaviour problems and negatively impact the learning environment.

LEARN PROMPTING - USE SUPER TASK FOR THE WHOLE CLASS
ByPass restrictions and get started.

At the moment many school districts including New South Wales Department of Education do not sanction student use of AI ChatBOTS individually, however this is an ideal opportunity for the WHOLE CLASS or SMALL GROUPS to use a GPT & model protocols & for both teachers & students to learn PROMPTING.

HOW GREAT IS THAT!

CHECK OUT SUPER TASK
FOR FREEEEE!
No Login required.

USE SUPER TASK to determine what you know about a topic, ask questions, discuss errors, & follow-up questions ask for more detail.
The way it's worked for me is dividing the Class into groups, maybe five or six groups & as each question is posed, groups discuss & find an answer to the question. They may also want a clarification. Answers are typed or voice activation is great. Rotate through the groups for answers.

SUPER VOICE will ask 10 questions & then give a summary of the results.

D-ID

LIP SYNCH

D-ID is a tool that makes pictures talk. You upload a photo, add text or voice, and it syncs the lips with the audio. The picture will move and speak like a real person, creating fun and cool videos!
You can check out some of the Text to Speech option in the Video

All done with D-ID. Its Free to try, the images are watermarked,I actually like this idea for AI generated images, but still fun to use.

  1. Login to D-ID
  2. Upload a photo of yourself or a friend.
  3. Goto Script and write a script - I suggest it is 1 or 2 sentences.
  4. Press Generate & then Download the Video.

Faces need to be square on to the camera. For best results. It's great fun to see this technology in use.

DOPAMINE

FLOW is often referred to as being IN THE ZONE.

WHEN YOU ARE IN FLOW, WORK SEEMS EFFORTLESS!
Your brain behaves differently. How? By sending out tons of “happy hormones.”
Dopamine…

Serotonin…

Anandamide…

Norepinephrine…

The good stuff.

The stuff that makes your brain go from,

“Yeah…I guess this task sounds fine”
to
“Hell yeah! Let’s do this!”

AI CHUCKLE

Here's a humorous AI Image that will make you and your kids chuckle! What do they think about it!
Could you write a MEME caption for it?
