and resistance to change.

TO WIN THIS BATTLE,
and connect students to a world of opportunity.

New schools like Green Square Public School in Zetland NSW(opening in 2024) might provide the opportunity to start from scratch, and run pilot programs to implement Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools and explore a diverse array of digital solutions and protocols that would
address the problems listed above.

A pilot initiative at new public school, could start the ball rolling and pave the way for the widespread adoption of these innovative solutions in schools across NSW.

I specialise in leveraging AI as part of technology integration to enrich teaching and enhance student outcomes in line with the recently released
“Australian Framework for Generative Artificial Intelligence in Schools.”
Starting with a small-scale cutting-edge pilot program, to test AI solutions, gather feedback, and develop protocols based on real-world experience and solutions that work.
Green Square PS could lead the way in AI adoption not just in NSW, but nationally.

A British School With a Modern Twist, is for students Ages 4 -16 The Athena learning platform Sophia uses, supports teachers to tailor instruction to each student. Learners have agency over pathways while getting nudged and supported. Athena AI even shows up in the Immersive digital

Korean Education
The Koreans are ahead of the game, with the Education Minister Lee Ju-ho announcing the adoption of the world's first digital textbook AI tutoring system for public edcuation to be rolled out in 2025.

Elon Musk
is planning STEM-focused school, university in Texas, anouncing a new K-12 School
Previously involved in Ad Astra Nova - with a heavy focus on artificial intelligence, coding and applied science, and Synthesis School - using an educational AI.

Angora Schools in the Netherlands are emabracing AI particularly to teach core subjects and gaining a 2 sigma boost to learning.

VALENTiNE

Check out the Virtual Teacher Valentine's Day page for some great ideas.
Explore What it's all about. I love the finger faces - a picture from the iPad
then draw the rest in image edit.
Check out the Krotak website for some splendid craft activities for Valentine's Day.
I love the blue hands making a heart card.

A Social study. Try to figure out the if the image is Human or AI generated. Every week results of the study will be published for academic and research purposes.
Your Kiddos can take the test. they will get a result out of 5 for their answers.
1. WORK in small groups of 3-4
2. EVERYONE takes the test and records their results.
3. GRAPH your results using excel or google sheets or Canva.
4. RETAKE the test, and record your results, and attdd them to your graph.
QUESTIONS
Did you improve on the second test?
What do you think this means?
Can you be fooled?
How can you tell the difference between a reall human and an AI image?
Does this matter?
EXTENSION
Check out the STATS pge on the site.
Work out the percentages of correct an incorrect answers for your group, the whole class.
Make graphs of correct imges and percentages from your results.

LOCUS of CONTROL

This can only work if teachers are prepared to be "the guide on the side not the sage on the stage." as the old cliche goes. Be prepared to give up the "control" of the class, to students controlling themselves and taking agency and responsibility for their own learning, starting from kindergarten. Teachers will need to do a lot of guiding and prodding on the side of course.
