Citizens of the Planet Homophone are totally confused, chaos reigns and they don't know which to write there, they’re or their. The Monarch says, "Over there are a group of citizens. They're having trouble figuring out which words to use. They have their iPhones at the ready but what will they type?" Can you help them? Challenge 1 Take 3 photos illustrating examples of each Homophone for there, they’re and their. Write a sentence explaining each picture - you can use arrows or circles if you like. |
Love Love Love the Canva Design Skills for Students Videos. You can just show them to the kiddos and learn along with them. The lessons are easy to follow. If you prefer you can open the slide presentation in Canva as well. I rather loved the ease with which you could create charts particularly. It was rather fun to ask the students how they could use the Elements tab to support their learning on the topic we were currently studying. They actually came up with some great suggestions using CANVA. One fun activity we did in Year 3 was to design a poster for kinderagarten with at least 3 x 3D Objects. Add a face and label the objects. We delivered these as digital files. Kindergarten loved them. CANVA is FREE for all K-12 Teachers and Students. |
