Largest DINOSAUR
New 26,000-pound dinosaur discovery was Earth's largest Dinosaur Ever.
If humans had lived 200 million years ago, they would have marveled at the largest dinosaur of its time. It's name means "a giant thunderclap at dawn."
The recently discovered fossil of a new dinosaur species in South Africa revealed a relative of the brontosaurus that weighed 26,000 pounds, about double the size of a large African elephant.

Building a dinosaur from a chicken - Jack Horner
Renowned paleontologist Jack Horner has spent his career trying to reconstruct a dinosaur. He's found fossils with extraordinarily well-preserved blood vessels and soft tissues, but never intact DNA. So, in a new approach, he's taking living descendants of the dinosaur (chickens) and genetically engineering them to reactivate ancestral traits — including teeth, tails, and even hands — to make a "Chickenosaurus.” (Take notes and write a report - Stage 3 and 4)

We can dish the real dirt about dinosaurs, thanks to fossils - traces of these astonishing animals are in the fossil record. Dinosaurs did not print newspapers, they did not take family snapshots or shoot videos 65 million years ago. The only proof scientists have about dinosaurs, is their fossils.
Don't forget to make the dinosaur bone fossil.
Cut a bone out of sponge. Mix 100ml of salt to 250ml of water. Put sand into bowl. Bury the bone in the sand. Pour the salt over the bone.
